During the job interview process most companies will try to assess how good you are at managing your personal stress. They want to make sure that you are not going to bring your home life to work creating a more stressful environment. The dilemma becomes that those same companies do nothing to make sure that you do not take work stress home with you. As an employer you do not want my work life hindered and as long as I make sure to abide by that the employer believes that I respect them. However they will not respect me enough to make sure that I am in a position where my work stressors are not following me home. Employers should recognize that stress crossover is inevitable as long as it does not become a significant factor in ones productivity.

Tiring…
So we just got back from watching another Bending Karma show and I feel musically fulfilled for the evening. I know tomorrow will come too soon considering Sunday school and church will be an hour earlier due to daylight savings time. Why do we still observe this? What benefit does this hold for the current generations other than to mess with our sleep cycles? I think we should start a petition to do away with this ridiculous tradition of daylight savings time. Parts of Indiana don’t observe it and they haven’t imploded. Then again I’ve met people from those parts of Indiana and if thats the affect that not observing daylight savings time has then I guess I’ll just stick to tradition.
